Art

Today I would like to write about ''Art'', I know many people think that art is just for a little gruop of persons, many parents thinks is not the best for your future, study an art career like dance, music, literature, acting. I believe all this careers as important as an engineer, surgeon, lawyer or architect.

¿How it would be a world without artists? The world definitely it would not be the same, ¿can you imagine a world without music, or poems? People need art in their  life, they need to scape for a while of this world and immerse in a beautiful story, or maybe in  an adventure, perhaps a magic story. There’s moments in your life that you just need some hope, a little of love, or just a breath, and a good book is there for you to read it. When you read something you can take the role of the protagonist, or any role, and you became in a part of the story. 

You must remember that someone, in somewhere, in sometime wrote that beautiful story for you, and dedicated time to write, this person was studying for years just like you. We have to say thanks to all these artists, specially in these days, when the world became more gray.

A career-related website

Well, I think the most famous website is animal planet.com, I found it because I watch this channel on TV frequency, my favorite show is ''Too cute'', that tell a story of puppies or little cats since they were born until they find a new family to live with.

I use this website sometimes to watch some videos or episodes that couldn't watch before. My favorites videos are of puppies, they are so cute, and you just want to squeeze them. Also I can find very interesting news. When I watch videos here, I remember why I wanted to study veterinary medicine in first time, animals are just wonderful, they always surprise you, and they are more kind than humans, that's why I love them.  I visit this website once a week I think or less, it depends of my available time.

I recommend it first because has so many information, you can find a lot of things of different areas about veterinary like health or wild animals. Second because is interactive, you can play games, visit others blogs, see photos, etc. If you like animals this website is perfect for you.

A country I'd like to visit

Definitely is hard to choose just one country, I want to visit many countries. But if you tell me now that you invite me and I choose the place, I'd like to visit Russia, I think is a magic place.
I choose Russia because I liked to hear about its history when I was in high school. I really like history, but universal history is my favorite, and Russia is important part of this. I know is the most extensive country of the world, many years ago was an agricultural country principally and now is more developed. And has many influence in the whole world, is very powerful, so is a global power.
When I go there I'd like to make a trip in transiberian train, that cross the country from Moscu to Pacific ocean and connect  europe Russia with far east Russian. I think is a unique experience.
I just want to visit in holidays, I don't want to work or live there, but if I have to do it, first I would like to learn the language, because is beautiful but complicated.

Why I wanted to be a vet

Well, when I was a little girl I always said that I want to be a vet, and when I will be older I will take care of all dogs that were living in the streets. I think is because of my dad, he learned to me to take care and love animals and be responsable with them.
And then I started to grow up and I knew more options, so I wanted to be a dancer... but always thinking to study both.
When I was 17 years old, I realized that I like the investigation of human diseases, but I didn't like medicine, there's many years studying something I don't like it, and I remembered that studying veterinary medicine I could do the same. That's why I decided to be a vet.
My experience at university has been really good, I love the career and I'm happy with my decision.
I don't know yet what kind of job I would like to have, but maybe I would like to work in an animal reserve or in a clinic.

Somethings about me...

My full name is Romina Vanesa Ramos Ríos,but everybody called me Romi. I was born in Osorno, in south of Chile at night on July 20 1995, now I'm 19 years old and I live in Santiago since 2000.

I studied in two different schools when I was a little girl. After that, I started my studies at Carmela Carvajal de Prat and I graduated last year. Now I'm studying veterinary medicine at university of Chile. I think it was a good decision and I'm happy with that.

My family have four members, my parents and my little sister. I have two dogs one is mother of the other and they are really cute. I like dancing since I was 6 years old, so I started to take classes on saturday every morning. I love ballet, is like need, I need to practice, if I let it for a while, I always come back...

Other thing I want to tell you, well I think you might be wondering about it, is why I put this name to my blog and is because it's one of my favorites sentences of one of my favorites books ''Nuestras Sombras''. So yes, I love reading too.
